LeBron James has had his bout with back injuries and with the NBA regular season approaching, the Cavaliers are likely to finish their preseason assignments with James watching from the sidelines.
James reportedly took an anti-inflammatory injection for his back earlier this week, something that is seen more of as a precautionary measure than to treat something that could be bothering him.

Back problems are nothing new for James, something that has bothered him before. In fact he had the same issues back in January and also took shots as well as two-weeks of rest so that he would not have to deal with it during the season.
To make it clear, James is not injured and the Cavs did originally plan for James to sit out the final game dates of the preseason.

The Cavs may however try and play James in their final preseason game against the Mavericks. The team is apparently studying the scenario, seeing the benefits of fielding in James together possibly with Kevin Love to get some game-situation experience.
For now those plans remain to be seen.
James stands to carry the load for the coming season once more with Kyrie Irving not expected back until probably 2016.
Love on the other hand will reportedly make his preseason debut this Sunday when the Cavs face the Raptors.
The Cavs intend to keep a close watch on their players to ensure that everyone is up and about come the final stages of the regular season.
Last season, injuries took a heavy toll on the Cavs and key players like Anderson Varejao, Love and Irving all succumbed and saw their season come to an abrupt end.
