Seth Rollins WWE Rumors: World Champion Not Fit To Be WWE Top Dog

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be nearing the 200-day mark as top dog in the WWE, but the question now is has the WWE chosen the right man to be at the helm?

The WWE ratings have been dismal and despite the appearances of established wrestlers from the Attitude Era, such has become a temporary reprieve. At the end of the day, Rollins is still being tasked to help improve the WWE's show ratings, sadly something that has not reaped dividends.

Recall that Rollins became the surprise champion when Roman Reigns was drawing a lot of criticism and negativity from the WWE Universe. Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Wrestlemania 31 and it seemed the ploy somehow worked, for a time.

The gimmick seemed to be a short-term solution and try as they might to insert big names against "The Architect,", no significant boost in ratings has been seen.

While Rollins is a lot better than Reigns, his heel-like character has obviously failed. Even with proven WWE heel star Triple H in his corner, it remains that Rollins is not the guy who can be aligned with greats like "The Game," Steve Austin, John Cena or the Rock (Dwayne Johnson).

No title change is expected to happen at WWE Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25, when Rollins comes face-to-face with the masked Kane. Apparently the real draw is the one involving Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. Second to that could be the match involving Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns. Both of the latter contests will happen inside the Hell in a Cell structure.

With the reigning champion expected to cling onto the title, who can the WWE lineup against ‘The Man’?

Right now, there is no clear picture on who his next opponent could be but one thing is for sure, he is slowly not turning out to be the main attraction in the WWE.

As to who his next opponent may be, it could be one of the wrestlers wrestling elsewhere on the card set at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. All except perhaps for Cena, who is expected to take that much talked about leave of absence due to personal reasons.
