David Beckham Rumors: 'Daddy's Little Girl' Gets Preferential Treatment Over Sons

Every father in the world understands David Beckham’s plight. The retired footballer -- speaking with Entertainment Tonight -- revealed he is powerless when it comes to his one and only daughter, Harper.

"I have no power with that little girl -- no power whatsoever," Beckham said.

"I love all my children, of course, equally," he added. "But I'm definitely stricter with the boys than I am Harper, which gets me in trouble with my wife of course."

You’ll have to look no further than Beckham’s Instagram to witness a four year old transform an iconic footballer into a teddy bear.

While Harper is the beneficiary of tea time and dress up, Beckham’s sons -- Brooklyn (16), Romeo (13) and Cruz (10) -- face the reality of living up to their father’s name. It’s proven to be impossible for his eldest.

Brooklyn was recently a prospect at Arsenal’s youth academy, but wasn’t offered a scholarship to remain with the academy, per Metro.

One of his sons went as far as telling him he no longer wanted to lace his boots.

"One of my boys turned around to me the other day and said, 'Daddy, I'm not sure I want to play football all the time,'" Beckham told ABC “Nightline” anchor Juju Chang. "It broke my heart a little bit.

“He said, 'Every time I step on to the field, I know people are saying, ‘this is David Beckham's son,' and if I am not as good as you, then it is not good enough.'"

Looking at this strike from Brooklyn in training, no, it's not good enough.
