David Beckham has been up to a lot since his retirement, most recently adding a new chest tattoo and working on opening a pie-and-mash cafe in London.
Beckham, 38, showed off his 33rd tattoo at the beach over the weekend. The tattoo, which covers his chest, is a portrait that depicts Jesus looking like Beckham and being lifted from a tomb by three figures. The three figures reportedly represent his three sons: Brooklyn (14), Romeo (11) and Cruz (8).
According to The Daily Mail in Britain, the tattoo was a gift from Beckham's wife, Victoria, who gave the retired soccer player a voucher for the tattoo in May for his birthday.
A photo of the tattoo can be seen here.
Getting new ink isn't the only thing Beckham's been up to these days as he also plans on opening his pie-and-mash cafe, which consists of a meat pie and mashed potato dish. He plans on opening the restaurant by the end of the year as part of a world-wide chain.
Beckham, who played his last game last May 18, was rumored to have wanted to invest in a Mediterranean-themed restaurant that was set to open on Sept. 16 by Chef Gordon Ramsey in London, however reports indicate that Beckham decided not to invest in the venture because he wanted to open the pie-and-mash restaurant.
"David was just looking around Gordon's new restaurant and it's been mis-interpreted that he was investing in the place," one of Beckham's personal friends told The Sun. "There was an option for David to invest early on but he wanted to stick to opening somewhere that would sell his own favorite grub."
