The autumn is officially here and the sun has set on a memorable summer in the WWE. Unlike most sports and entertainment avenues, the birth of a new season doesn't mean the end of the line for the WWE as it is a year-round entity.
4 Possible Outcomes To Lesnar vs. 'Taker At Hell In A Cell
The summer produced many great moments in the squared circle, but there is always room for improvement.
With the fall starting, here's a look at 10 things the WWE should do before winter.
7 Potential Matches For WWE Hell In A Cell
10) War Games Return
WWE Hell in a Cell is headlined by Brock Lesnar and Undertaker inside the structure. While that match is great, the ongoing war between The Wyatt Family and the trio of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton should be settled in a six-man cage match, harkening back to the famed WCW War Games format.
9) REAL Divas Revolution
The Divas Revolution on the main roster has had a rough start, but with Paige turning heel and Charlotte ending Nikki Bella's record reign, things could be shaping up. This autumn, the WWE really needs to give the ladies more to work with and the fans a reason to care.
8) Fight Owens, Fight!
The WWE started to fix its problems with the Intercontinental Championship by giving it to Kevin Owens and he should defend it a lot this fall. When the final leaf falls off the tree to ring in the winter, he should still be standing as champion.
7) Restore Survivor Series
The Survivor Series used to be one of the biggest shows of the year, focusing on tag team elimination matches. In recent years, the November Classic has fallen off as a must-see event, and to fix it, the WWE should go back to the elimination match format. The company has so many events in the year that it exhausts most one-on-one matches, so why not go back to its roots?
6) Tag Survival Match
On the topic of fixing the November Classic, the WWE has a deep tag division and should re-introduce the highly-entertaining tag team elimination matches that highlighted the first two Survivor Series events in 1987 and '88.
5) Tag Team Turmoil
Speaking of the tag division, the Dudley Boyz have brought a refreshing stability to the scene, while The New Day has emerged as one of the most entertaining stables in the company. The Dudley Boyz should chase the heels for the remainder of 2015 so that it's that much more triumphant when they finally best them.
4) Cena 'Nuff
John Cena is the United States Champion, and that's perfectly fine. He has put on stellar matches and made midcarders look like stars with the gold. He should continue to do that for the rest of 2015 and stay out of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture.
3) Increase The Beast
There's been a lot more use of Brock Lesnar as of late, and that needs to continue. After Hell in a Cell, the WWE should add "The Beast" to the Survivor Series card as a way of continuing the effort to improve the importance of the November staple.
2) Anyone But Kane, Who Should Retire With Big Show & Sting
Nothing against older Superstars, but it's time to move on. The WWE seems to be pushing Kane vs. Seth Rollins for the richest prize in the game for next month, which is a huge mistake. Kane and Big Show should call it a career, as should the injured Sting, unless he has a bout with The Undertaker left in him.
1) No Luck For The Irish
We're still scratching our heads as to why Sheamus is Mr. Money in the Bank. The "Celtic Warrior" should become just the third man in history to fail on his cash-in attempt. Sheamus can be solid in the ring, but he's just boring as a WWE World Heavyweight Champion and shouldn't be the guy to carry the company's brand. Let Rollins roll with the belt through the fall and meet Ambrose and Reigns at WrestleMania. .
