PGA Tour Leaderboard: BMW Championship Round 2 Recap, Jason Day Highlights and Scores [VIDEO]

Inclement weather behind him, Jason Day returned to the course on Friday in dominant fashion. In a position to claim the world No. 1 ranking, the 27-year-old shot a PGA Tour record-tying 36-hole score of 18-under.

It was enough to give him a five stroke lead at the BMW Championship.

"I don't know how else to explain the way I've been playing," Day said, per PGATour.com "I feel very free, like there's no stress.

"There's obviously stress, but I'm enjoying it."

Jordan Spieth enjoyed the performance so much, he felt inclined to add to Day's earnings.

"I feel like I should be paying to come watch some of this," said Spieth. "It was special."

Spieth wasn't equally as special, but is tied for fourth at 11-under. Daniel Berger and Brendon Todd finished tied for second, while Kevin Na sits alongside Spieth.
