Throw for 285 yards and four TDs against Stephen F. Austin, and apparently it'll be enough to make you the new odds-on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. That's the case for Trevone Boykin, who jumped Cardale Jones and Ezekiel Elliott in the latest odds.

Boykin enters Week 3 at +850, per Bovada. A trio of players -- which include Jones, Elliot and USC QB Cody Kessler -- are now at +900.
Taysom Hill Suffers Season-Ending Foot Injury
Jones suffered from shared playing time with J.T. Barrett in Ohio State's 38-0 victory over Hawaii on Saturday. The redshirt junior was 12-of-18 for 111 yards and zero TDs. Barrett didn't fare any better -- finishing 8-of-15 for 70 yards -- but will still have the opportunity to battle Jones for additional snaps.
"He's the starting quarterback," Meyer said of Jones, per Yahoo Sports. "I met with him yesterday [Sunday]. J.T. has not beat him out yet. He's going to continue to have opportunities to do that because J.T. is a very good player and Cardale's got to perform.
"Neither played that well Saturday, but a lot of it was extenuating circumstances about protection. We just weren't -- we didn't play very well, so it's not that difficult."
Boykin failed to impress in Week 1's victory over Minnesota and Jones' playing time doesn't lend him the opportunity to launch a Heisman campaign, opening the door for Kessler to sneak away with the award.

The senior is yet to throw an interception this season, completing 78.9 percent of his passes for 650 yards and two TDs. Consistent production on that level -- especially against the likes of Oregon and Notre Dame -- will complete an unbeatable resume for the Heisman Trophy.
