Ndamukong Suh Update: Joe Philbin Doesn't Deny Suh's Alfred Morris Hit Was Dirty [VIDEO]

After further review, Ndamukong Suh's reputation did not get in the way. Although it was not confirmed by his head coach.

The NFL reviewed an incident in which Suh, the Dolphins defensive tackle, knocked the helmet off Redskins running back Alfred Morris after a tackle during their game on Sunday.

The league found no wrongdoing on the part of Suh, Yahoo Sports reported.

Although contact took place, "Suh's action was not deemed a kick," said NFL spokesman Michael Signora.

Video of the play shows Morris getting up and saying something, appearing as if he believed Suh's actions were intentional.

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin commented on the league's ruling without giving any indication whether he believed Suh had intentionally kicked off Morris' helmet.

"The league looked at it and they made their ruling. I watched the play. Ndamukong has been doing a great job since he's been here. He's been working extremely hard and he's a great teammate. I expect him to continue to do that and continue to play well," Philbin said Monday, according to ESPN.

After the game, a 17-10 Dolphins victory, Suh said he couldn't recall the incident brought up by reporters.

"I tackled him plenty of times during the game, so I'm not really certain what you are speaking of," Suh said at the time.

Suh also appeared to poke Redskins offensive tackle Morgan Moses in the eyes later in the game, SI.com reported, but the NFL had no comment on that incident. Suh has lost $420,669 due to fines and suspensions in his career, according to ESPN.
