What They're Saying

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll on moving forward from SB XLIX, per Seahawks.com: "People can think whatever they want. Yeah, the questions continue to come, they try to take us back. They want to know how bad it is, what are you really thinking? I'm OK. That's not to say it wasn't enormously impacting. It just is what it is now and we've put it in place where we can deal with it properly to help us move forward well."

Jeff Fisher on the status of his team, per ESPN: "Gurley's not going to play this week. Tre [Mason] is doing good. He had two treatment sessions [last Saturday], and he's doing well. So we'll see how he is during the week."

Performance To Examine

The Rams have always been one competent QB away from a playoff appearance. The team is returning all 11 starters on defense, forcing the issue on the offensive side of the ball. Sam Bradford's knees are no longer a worry, allowing Foles to become the team's unquestioned leader under center.

For his career, the 26-year-old is completing 61.6 percent of his passes and has a 94.2 QB rating.
