LPGA Tour Leaderboard: The Evian Championship Round 2 Recap, Highlights and Scores [VIDEO]

Lexi Thompson couldn't hang, allowing Mi Hyang Lee to capture sole possession of the leaderboard at The Evian Championship.

The 22-year-old shot a 4-under 67 on Friday, allowing her to enter the weekend with a 9-under total of 133. A lack of experience doesn't appear to be a deterrent for Lee, who is seeking her first-ever major championship.

Especially with veteran caddie Mike Harig guiding her on the course.

"I'm a young player and he's pretty old, 69 years old, the oldest caddie on the tour," Lee said, per ABC News. "He has a lot of experience, so that's a lot of help for me."

Morgan Pressel is in search of a much-needed victory as well. The American is just one stroke off Lee's pace and in a position to claim her first victory in seven years.

Always the perfectionist, Pressel believes there's still work to be done.

"It's hard to nitpick, but I didn't hit my driver as well on the front nine as I would have liked, so there are certainly things that I can improve on," she told reporters, per Reuters. "But I feel like mentally I stayed tough and battled through and made some birdies even after hitting poor drives."
