BAYLOR vs SMU Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Bears 36-Point Favorites vs. Mustangs

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET No. 4 Baylor will take on unranked SMU to kick off their respective schedules on ESPN in a tilt that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Baylor fans can listen to the action on 1660 ESPN Radio, while Mustangs fans may do likewise on The Ticket 1310.

Baylor enters the season with high hopes, but they have a new QB, Seth Russell, with only one start under his belt guiding the way. Bryce Petty preceded him, and led a record-breaking offense, and before him Robert Griffin III took home a Heisman trophy. Russell has big shoes to fill.

"Seth, he is an amazing guy and a great role model on and off the field. He is a great athlete and he can throw the ball as well as anyone in the nation," receiver Corey Coleman said. "We have 100 percent trust that he will get the job done."

The rest of the skill positions are mostly intact though, and should be able to help Russell get his feet under him through the early slate. "There's been a lot of hype, a lot of anticipation for our team this season and rightfully so," coach Art Briles said.

SMU is a heavy underdog in this game, but they'll probably be happy with putting up any points. Last season Baylor throttled them 45-0 in the season opener. This time around beastly defensive lineman Shawn Oakman will be unavailable thanks to a one-game suspension for violating team rules.

They have a new offensive coordinator in town, Chad Morris, who is hoping to get the Mustangs offense galloping with a brand new spread offense. "We are a hurry-up, no-huddle football program," he said. "We don't wait on anything. We go get it."
