PGA Tour Leaderboard: The Barclays 2015 Round 1 Recap, Jordan Spieth Highlights and Scores [VIDEO]

What do Jordan Spieth and Andy Dalton have in common? Both crumble in playoff competition.

The current world No. 1 finished his opening round of the 2015 Barclays with a 4-over 74, his worst score in three months. Spieth will enter Friday nine strokes off the pace.

The Barclays Predictions And Odds

"Just lost a little bit of focus," Spieth said, per PGATour.com. "All in all, I'm just going to take today as a fluke round. I still believe I'm playing well. It just happened to be an off day on a day where it counted."

Fortunately for Spieth, he has nothing to lose but the No. 1 ranking he's held for two weeks. With four wins and nine top-three finishes this year—including two major championships—the 22-year-old is a virtual lock for the Tour finale at East Lake.

It wasn't all doom and gloom at Plainfield Country Club, though. Bubba Watson, Spencer Levin, Camilo Villegas and Tony Finau all finished at 5-under and hold a share of the lead.

Bryce Molder, Danny Lee and four others remain in contention just one stroke behind.
