LeBron James News: Cleveland Cavaliers Star Confirms Wanting To Star in 'Space Jam' [VIDEO]

LeBron James recently responded to comments from Michael Jordan, saying he feels he could beat Jordan.

It's assumed the two NBA stars were talking about basketball, but maybe they were talking about their acting careers.

LeBron James' new deal with Warner Bros. lights way for "Space Jam" reboot

In an interview on NBC's "Today" show, the Cavaliers superstar confirmed that he wants to remake "Space Jam" -- the movie in which Michael Jordan starred with Bugs Bunny and the other Looney Tunes characters from Warner Bros.

"Today" co-anchor Willie Geist asked King James whether a "Space Jam" remake was more than just a rumor.

LeBron James continues to strengthen image with role in movie, "Trainwreck"

"We hope so. We're definitely missing Bugs and Daffy and [the] Tasmanian Devil and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things," James said, as reported by Huffington Post.

James seems to have the acting bug after making an appearance in -- and receiving critical acclaim for -- the romantic comedy, "Trainwreck" with Amy Schumer and Bill Hader.

"It's a passion of mine. Everything I do, I have a passion about it. If we could continue it, I know I don't have to dribble a basketball and fly through the air to do those type of things," he told Geist.

James, the undisputed current best player in the game, has been compared to Jordan, who is considered the greatest player of all time. Despite James' bigger size (6-foot-8, 250 pounds) than Jordan (6-6, 215), he is unfavorably considered against the former Bulls star, who won six NBA titles (1991-93, 1996-98) without losing any NBA Finals.

James is 2-4 in NBA Finals appearances, winning titles with the Heat in 2012 and 2013.

"Oh, I take myself, for sure," James said to Geist, in comparing himself and Jordan, as reported by SI.com. "I mean, I'm going to have to take myself versus anybody. I'll tell you one thing - they're going to have to have a few wheelchairs and a couple ambulances there to get us off the floor."
