The Suns have a major problem on their hands, and that's the public cry from power forward Markieff Morris that he wants to be traded. After the Suns dealt his twin brother, Marcus, this offseason while both men were on vacation, Markieff reportedly felt the team no longer had his back.
Markieff was not only displeased with the Suns' decision to trade his brother without giving him a heads up, but also with his perception that they were actively trying to replace him with free agent LaMarcus Aldridge. Markieff averaged 15 points and six rebounds last season.

This offseason, as well as the 2014-15 regular season, have been tumultuous in the desert. The Morris twins were in serious trouble in January when they were both charged with aggravated assault after beating a man whom they believe was sleeping with their mother. Markieff struggled to control his anger on the court as well, racking up 15 technical fouls, the second-most in the NBA. Marcus had nine techs.
Markieff is going on the offensive now about his future with Phoenix, claiming there is no future.

"One thing for sure, I am not going to be there. If you want to put that out there, you can put that out. I don't give a f**k. I am not going to be there at all. That's just what it is," he told Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Keith Pompey.
The problem with that statement is that he is under contract for next season with the Suns, and would stand to give up $8 million if he doesn't play. Markieff said that he will be a "professional" if they don't deal him, but he expects to not be a Sun.
"I've got to show up. No question. You can't do that. I will be a professional. Don't get me wrong. But it won't get that far. ... I'm going to be out before then, should be," Markieff said.
