Inter Milan Transfer News: Gary Medel Not Leaving, Danilo D'Ambrosio Close To West Ham Deal And More

The results haven't gone well for Inter Milan this season. The club followed a 4-2 victory over Carpi with defeats to Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Real Madrid and Galatasaray. Business in the summer transfer window has hit a similar snag.

Below is all the latest transfer gossip surrounding Inter Milan.

Danilo D'Ambrosio

West Ham are close to sealing the transfer of Danilo D'Ambrosio, according to Metro. The 26-year-old, in search of more first-team opportunities, has caught the attention of the Hammers.

Per the reports, negotiations between agent and club will take place with the aim of completing a deal before the start of the new campaign.

Felipe Melo

Turns out, Felipe Melo wasn't signed, sealed and delivered to the San Siro.

The 32-year-old parted ways with his parent club last Thursday. All signs pointed to a return to Italy, that is, until Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek added a wrinkle to his transfer saga.

"The situation is not yet clear," Ozbek told Hurriyet, per Tribal Football. "We've let him have a few days to decide. Between today and tomorrow, the situation will be much clearer. I don't know if it can be done, but we want [Gary] Medel from Inter. Talks are continuing, and we want to rejuvenate the team."

"Whether the transfer continues depends on him [Medel]. We want high-level players in our squad."

Gary Medel

Speaking of Medel, Mancini quickly ended any speculation surrounding his star midfielder.

"We won't sell Gary Medel, but Yuto Nagatomo could leave," Mancini told La Gazzetta dello Sport, per Talksport.

Medel was linked with a switch back to England in recent weeks. Liverpool and Everton showed reported interest, but will now join the likes of Galatasaray in their futile pursuit.
