Paige, Becky Lynch and Charlotte will no longer be going by the stable name of "The Submission Sorority" after the WWE discovered an adult website with the same name.
Ranking The Best Moments From WWE SummerSlam, 2003-08 Edition
The trio of WWE Divas revealed the new billing for their team this week on Monday Night RAW, but the WWE didn't do the proper research on the name, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com.
Per the report, the company found out that an adult website has the same exact name, so Paige, Lynch and Charlotte will be dubbed something else now.
Rey Mysterio Reveals Why He Left The WWE
The WWE decided to give the triad a label due to their rivals all having names for their respective teams.
NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina are going under Team B.A.D. (Beautiful & Dangerous) while WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella, her sister Brie Bella and Alicia Fox are known as Team Bella.
There are rumors that the team will now go by the name of The Submission Sisters while there have also been ideas of calling them the Horsewomen.
The Horsewomen name likely won't happen due to fear that the company would be stepping on UFC women's bantamweight champion and avid WWE fan Ronda Rousey's toes by doing that.
Rousey and her four horsewomen helped Stephanie McMahon complete the ice bucket challenge last year at SummerSlam and Rowdy also was heavily involved this year at WrestleMania 31.
Whatever the trio becomes known as, Paige, Lynch and Charlotte, who is WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair's daughter, have been a vital part of the recent Divas revolution.
All nine Divas that are involved in that are sure to be a huge part of the big SummerSlam event on Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
