Caroline Wozniacki Rumors: First Pitch Shows Successful Transition From NFL To Baseball? [VIDEO]

Apparently no longer with NFL superstar JJ Watt, Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki has been taking up baseball. And it agrees with her.

It's been a seamless transition.

Wozniacki threw out the first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game Sunday against the crosstown rival Los Angeles Angels. Unlike several other celebrities who melt under the pressure of delivering the ball, Wozniacki threw a perfect strike, CBS Sports reported.

The last time the No. 5 player in the world was seen throwing around a ball that wasn't a tennis ball was her throwing around a football in the midst of her reported romance with Watt, the Houston Texans defensive end and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

The two reportedly had been dating since at least April - she accompanied him to the NCAA men's basketball national championship game - and lasted at least through the end of May. He was spotted with her in Paris as she competed in the French Open.

However, in an almost chance encounter with Jennifer Aniston, Watt declared himself single and speculation grew that he backed off after she tried to get serious with him.

Wozniacki's best tennis came on the heels of her breakup with former fiancé Rory McIlroy, the world's No. 1 golfer, when she advanced to the finals of the U.S. Open and the season-ending WTA Finals.

Wozniacki has one tournament victory in 2015 at the Malaysian Open. She will be the top seed at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, Calif., the first event of the U.S. Open series (with the withdrawal of top seed Serena Williams).

If Wozniacki contends again at the U.S. Open later this month and through the beginning of September, she might want to consider breaking up with guys every summer.
