Ronda Rousey can feel Serena Williams' pain.
Both have been criticized for having masculine physiques which the skeptics say give them an unfair advantage over their competition and lends to their dominance in their respective sports (mixed martial arts and tennis).
Other tennis players say they don't want to bulk up to rival Serena Williams
Rousey fired back at naysayers of her body type in an episode of "UFC 190 Embedded," the National Sun Times reported.
"Being put in the position of being a role model, I don't think I'm infallible enough for that," she said in advance of her UFC 190 main event fight vs. Bethe Correia. "I have this one term, for the kind of woman that my mother raised me to not be, I call it a 'Do Nothin' B****', or a 'DNB'. A chick that just tries to be pretty, and be taken care of by somebody else."
She continued: "That's why I think it's hilarious if someone says my body looks masculine or something, I'm like; Listen, just because my body was developed for something other than f****** millionaires, doesn't mean it's masculine. I think it's femininely badass as f*** because there's not a single muscle on body that isn't for a purpose because I'm not a do nothin' b****.
"It's not very eloquently said but it's to the point, and maybe that's what I am, I'm not that eloquent but I'm to the point."
The 28-year-old Rousey is 11-0 with two knockouts and nine submissions as the reigning bantamweight champion. She is arguably the biggest name in the UFC.
Williams is 40-1 on the year and is currently the holder of all four Grand Slam titles. She heads into next month's US Open trying to become the first player to win all four majors in the same year since Steffi Graf in 1988.
The New York Times recently wrote that tennis players Agnieszka Radwanska and Andrea Petkovic refused to bulk up like Williams because it was un-ladylike.
Both Rousey and Williams will just have to drown their sorrows with their victories and vast financial earnings.
