Liverpool Transfer News: Mario Balotelli €2 Million Lazio Loan, 14-Year-Old Edvard Sandvik Tagseth Considering Signing and More

Mario Balotelli—unsurprisingly—was an unmitigated disaster at Liverpool. Despite immense talent and potential, the 24-year-old managed one goal in 940 minutes of Premier League action. His future—like that of another teammate—no longer belongs at Anfield.

Below are all the latest transfer rumors surrounding the Reds.

Mario Balotelli

According to La Repubblica (via Football Italia), Mino Raiola, Balotelli's agent, has offered his client's services to Lazio. Per the report, Raiola met with Lazio president Claudio Lotito and proposed a €2 million loan with an option to buy for €18 million.

The Italian newspaper also believes Lazio will only be required to pay 30 percent of Balotelli's €6 million annual wage.

Rickie Lambert

Joining Balotelli through the exit door is Rickie Lambert, with West Bromwich Albion being the likely destination.

On Thursday, Baggies manager Tony Pulis confirmed his interest in the striker.

"Rickie is available," Pulis said (via Liverpool Echo). "Liverpool have made that known. We'd be interested. It's very important that we get players who will score goals. Rickie's got a great goalscoring record."

Just not with Liverpool.

The 33-year-old provided just two goals last season, a far cry from his 13-goal performance with Southampton in 2013-14.

Edvard Sandvik Tagseth

Looking to the future—the distant future—Norwegian wunderkind Edvard Sandvik Tagseth is considering a move to Anfield.

"I have not quite decided yet, but I'm considering signing for [Liverpool," Tagseth said (via Liverpool Echo).

Norwegian football expert Petter Myhre spoke highly of the 14-year-old adding: "He shows great understanding of football. I am often critical of young players growing up and only have good skills. One should act in combat, not only as entertainment break."
