Inter Milan Transfer News: Ivan Perisic Arriving in 7 Days, Felipe Melo Says Goodbye and More

If you ask Jose Mourinho, Rafa Benitez is solely responsible for the demise of Inter Milan. If you ask Fredy Guarin, Roberto Mancini will be the reason for their revival.

"He has charisma and experience," Guarin said (via Football Italia). "Now [that] he has chosen his players, he can guide us back to the top."

Mancini, however, is not done choosing his players. Below are all the latest transfer rumors surrounding Inter Milan.

Ivan Perisic

"Patience is a virtue."

That's the mantra Ivan Perisic's agent, Tonci Martic, is trying to sell Inter Milan fans. Perisic's future at the San Siro hit a snag after Xherdan Shaqiri rejected a move to Schalke 04. Despite this crucial piece missing for potential swap, Martic has sought to calm Nerazzurri fans.

"It still takes patience," he told FantaGazzetta (via Football Italia). "We're on track. The signs are good, but there are still a few things to define. The two clubs are working to reach an agreement. We're sticking to our decisions, he [Perisic] is still on his way."

"I think everything could be successfully concluded within seven days," Martic added. "At the moment, I can't say more than that."

Felipe Melo

Possibly joining Perisic in Milan is Felipe Melo. Long linked with a transfer, the midfielder said goodbye to Galatasaray on Thursday.

"I've completed my mission with Galatasaray," Melo told Milliyet (via Football Italia). "I had a wonderful time with this club, and I'll leave with great memories."

According to agent Roberto Tukuda, full-back Yuto Nagato will be part of a reported swap deal.

"Galatasaray is a distinct possibility for Yuto," Roberto Tukuda told FCInterNews (via Football Italia). "Turkey is a destination he'd like. In fact, I'd say at the moment that's the only real solution for him. There aren't any other concrete options that we're considering."

"Melo? Yes, it's possible he could be included as part of the same deal," he added. "We could have news in the next week."

Stevan Jovetic

Stevan Jovetic arrived at the Humanitas hospital on Tuesday to undergo his medical. The Montenegrin is slated to sign a four-year deal.
