After a week north of the border and another across the pond, the PGA Tour returns to American soil for the 2015 Quicken Loans National at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.
Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker are just a few of the headliners in Gainesville, Virginia. The event will feature 13 winners from this season.
Preview
Dates: Thursday, July 30 - Sunday, August 2
The Course: Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia
Purse: $6.7 million, with a $1.17 million winning share
FedExCup Points: 500 to the winner
TV Info:
- Thursday and Friday: 2:30-6:30 p.m. ET, Golf Channel
- Saturday and Sunday: 1-6 p.m. ET, CBS
Odds
Unsurprisingly, Justin Rose enters the weekend as the odds-on favorite. The fifth-ranked Tour member opens as a +800 favorite according to Bovada. Rickie Fowler (+1,000) and Jimmy Walker (+1,600) are second and third-choice, respectively.
Prediction
Jimmy Walker tied for 30th at St. Andrews, but boasts six top-10 finishes in 17 starts on tour this season. Leading the tour in strokes gained, look for the 36-year-old to capture his first victory since the Texas Open.
One downside of Jason Day's week? Telling his son he doesn't get to keep actual birdies and eagles. #TrendingOnTOUR https://t.co/WhDg06N0eI
