Two teams chasing third place in the 2015 Gold Cup will do battle today in a match between the United States and Panama. The tournament clash scheduled for 4 p.m. ET will be held at PPL Park in Philadelphia and can be live streamed here. Additional TV coverage can be found on Fox Sports 2.
What They're Saying
USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann (via U.S. Soccer): "Planning ahead towards 2018 wasn't the factor. Right now, the fact is they [John Brooks and Ventura Alvarado] deserve to play these games. They deserve to play the Gold Cup. We've had to raise the competition with some center-backs and some outside backs. We want to see that competition going on and it'll just get better over the next couple of years. That's not a problem at all."
Panama head coach Hernan Dario Gomez (via Fox Sports): "I have been managing teams since 1987, and this is the first time that I experience this. With a team well worked, with athletes desiring to give their country another Gold Cup final, with a press that has accompanied and helped us out. If it was up to me, I could say 'I do not want to continue in soccer anymore' because that was horrible. It was an utter robbery."
