Maria Menounos is in for the fight of her life this Sunday.
The actress and entertainment host is returning to sports entertainment outside of the spectacle known as WWE SummerSlam this Sunday to grapple in the squared circle.
Menounos will team up with WWE diva Natalya to take on the Bella Twins at the fan Axxess event outside of the Los Angeles Staples Center just before Sunday's pay-per-view.
WWE Fan Axxess is an all-day event on Saturday and Sunday held outside the Staples Center and across the street at L.A. Live for fans to meet and greet WWE Superstars and enjoy other wrestling-related activities. The time of Menounos' match hasn't been released.
Menounos, 35, a life-long WWE fan, won't be dabbling into the wrestling world for the first time. She made her first in-ring appearance back in 2009 in a six-woman tag match where she teamed with Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim to defeat Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendez and Alicia Fox. She then returned to get it on in the ring in 2011 when she teamed with Eve Torres, Kelly and Fox to defeat The Bella Twins, Natalya and Phoenix.
Her most recent and highest profile match came at the WWE's biggest pay-per-view of the year WrestleMania XXVIII in Miami in 2012 where she teamed with Kelly to defeat Phoenix and Torres.
Menounos will now appear outside of the WWE's second biggest pay-per-view extravaganza SummerSlam Sunday.
Even though it won't be on TV, Menounos' match will serve as a nice warm-up to WWE's SummerSlam event, which is headlined by Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship and Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk in a match that is dubbed as "The Best vs. The Beast."
