July 1 is an exciting day around the National Hockey League as free agency officially opens up.
Throughout the league, many signings will be announced as the NHL's clubs look to sign new talent or re-sign assets they already have to prepare for the 2015-16 season.
With the puck set to drop on the campaign on Oct. 7, here is a tracker of free agent signings throughout the league courtesy of NHL.com:
Mikael Granlund, Minnesota Wild
Granlund, 23, re-signed with the Wild on a two-year deal, but the salary has yet to be reported. He collected 39 points last season.
Artem Anisimov, Chicago Blackhawks
After acquiring him from the Columbus Blue Jackets for Brandon Saad on Tuesday, the Blackhawks re-signed Anisimov to a five-year, $22.75 million deal.
Mike Ribeiro, Nashville Predators
This highly-coveted unrestricted free agent remains in Nashville on a two-year $7 million deal after notching 62 points in a bounceback season following being bought out by the Arizona Coyotes.
Stanislav Galiev, Washington Capitals
Galiev re-signed with the club on a two-year, $1.15 million pact.
Yannick Weber, Vancouver Canucks
The defenseman remains in Vancouver on a one-year deal worth $1.5 million. Weber, 26, had 11 goals and 21 points last season.
Thomas Greiss, New York Islanders
New York signed Greiss to a two-year, $3 million deal out of free agency to spell Jaroslav Halak in the blue paint. Greiss played 20 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins last season and owned a 9-6-3 record with a 2.59 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.
Thomas Hickey, New York Islanders
The Isles re-signed the defenseman to a three-year, $6.6 million contract after notching two goals and 22 points last season.
Adam Pardy, Winnipeg Jets
The Jets re-signed the defenseman to a one-year, $1 million deal. He had nine assists last campaign.
Matt Halischuk, Winnipeg Jets
The Jets also re-signed Halischuk to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000.
Nate Prosser, Minnesota Wild
The Wild re-signed Prosser to a two-year deal, details are still unknown.
Blake Comeau, Colorado Avalanche
Comeau signed with the Avalanche to a three-year deal that is reportedly worth $2.4 million. Comeau had 16 goals and 31 points last season for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Francois Beauchemin, Colorado Avalanche
Beauchemin's deal is also three years and is said to be worth $4.5 million. He notched 11 goals for the Anaheim Ducks last season.
Matt Bartowski, Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks signed the defenseman to a one-year deal. With the Boston Bruins last season, he had four assists and 37 penalty minutes in 47 games.
Michael Neuvirth, Philadelphia Flyers
Philly inked Neuvirth to a two-year deal that pays him $1.5 million in 2015-16 and $1.75 million in 2016-17. The netminder, who played with the New York Islanders last season, owns a 2.73 GAA and .912 save percentage in 168 career NHL games spanning in seven seasons.
Brad Richardson, Arizona Coyotes
Richardson signed a three-year deal, but the amount of money he gets paid hasn't been divulged. He had eight goals and 21 points with the Vancouver Canucks last season.
Rasmus Rissanen, Carolina Hurricanes
The Canes re-signed Rissanen to a one-year, two-way contract that will pay him $575,000 in the NHL or $125,000 in the AHL.
Riley Nash, Carolina Hurricanes
The Canes also re-signed Nash to a one-year deal worth $1,150,000. He set career-highs with 17 assists and 25 points last season.
Ondrej Sekera, Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers inked Sekera out of free agency to a six-year deal, but terms weren't released. The defenseman went 3-20--23 in for the Hurricanes and Kings last season.
Mark Letestu, Edmonton Oilers
Edmonton signed Letestu to a three-year deal. He went 7-6--13 for the Columbus Blue Jackets last season.
Zbynek Michalek, Arizona Coyotes
The Coyotes signed Michalek to a two-year deal. He went 4-8-12 and had 18 penalty minutes (PIM) in 68 games with the Coyotes and St. Louis Blues last season.
