Hart spoke to Sports Illustrated and said that he believes Bryan's career is over due to his latest injury setback.

"Daniel Bryan is finished. He'll never wrestle again," Hart told the website. "I don't think he knows it yet. I feel terrible about Daniel Bryan. For all intents and purposes, he had the exact same thing happen to him that happened to me after Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head. One day, you learn it's over. Doctors tell you that you can't wrestle and you'll never wrestle again. I lost millions of dollars because of that. I pray that it's not the same for Daniel Bryan."

CM Punk's First UFC Fight Delayed Until 2016?

Bryan has been sidelined since April when the WWE canceled his Extreme Rules match against Bad News Barrett. He was then pulled from all live events and advertisements for future events before forfeiting the Intercontinental Championship in May due to the nature of his injuries.

The title was then won by Ryback at Elimination Chamber on May 31 when he defeated five other Superstars in a Chamber Match.

It marked the second straight year that Bryan left WrestleMania with gold only to have to forfeit it right after.

Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX last year in New Orleans in a Triple Threat Match against Batista and Randy Orton and he then had to relinquish the title.

Bryan sustained a neck injury, which at the time was considered minor, and he underwent a procedure to correct it before subsequently losing feeling in his right arm after the operation, causing him to miss the rest of 2014.

"The Beard" then returned in January of this year and he won the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania 31this past March, before injuries sidelined him again.

While Bryan hasn't given a full update on his recovery, Hart believes he may never return to the ring again.
