Tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET on Spike TV Kimbo Slice will headline Bellator 138 against "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock in a grudge match years in the making. Live stream the fight for free by clicking this link.
Slice, 41, somehow has 10 years on Shamrock heading into this fight. He does not have any experience advantage however. Slice has a mere six professional bouts under his belt while Shamrock is a veteran of 45 tilts inside the octagon.
Shamrock believes that experience, and his skill will overcome the age gap.
"I've been where he's at," Shamrock told MMAjunkie Radio. "Where mentally and physically you've always just been able to get in there and do it. But then when you really have to dig down and find out who you really are because things don't come to you easily anymore because of your age and the process of your reaction time slows down and your healing time slows down. You can't go in the gym and just mop people up in the ring anymore. You're having to fight for everything you get because you're not what you used to be."
Neither man has fought since 2010, so fans can expect a ragged matchup. That could also lead to fireworks, and perhaps a quick finish if one of these two hard strikers is able to land something flush. Shamrock has lost via TKO in each of his last four bouts, while Slice succumbed to punches in his most recent action.
Prediction: Ken Shamrock def. Kimbo Slice via submission (Round 2)
