Tom Brady Deflategate News: Woman's Obituary Proclaims QB Not Involved In Scandal [VIDEO]

Some people will go to their grave believing that Tom Brady is innocent of having footballs deflated before the AFC Championship Game. In fact, one of them already did.

Barstool Sports reported that a woman who died in Auburn, Mass., left a message to her family to pass on her wish to share her belief that Brady did not take part in Deflategate.

Bill Belichick thinks Tom Brady is lying about his innocence over Deflategate?

In an unidentified newspaper, the obituary of 72-year-old Patricia M. Shong included a non-traditional sentiment.

"Patricia enjoyed scrap-booking, cross stitching, pixel art, knitting and crocheting," a part of her obituary read. "She relished weekly card night with the ladies. Patricia was known for being an avid reader which all who knew her can attest to based on her on her mini home library. She especially loved spending time with her family.

"She would also like us to set the record straight for her: Brady is innocent!!"

Pittsburgh Steelers' playoff loss and defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau's exit contributes to fan's death?

Barstool Sports treated Shong like a hero for her dying wish, quoting Rocky I in celebrating her faithfulness in Brady.

"See this is what Roger Goodell doesn't get," Barstool Sports reported. "He thinks it's a damn show. He doesn't realize it's a damn fight. We got American heroes like Patricia Shong literally defending Brady from beyond the grave. Literally fighting the league office till her death. There is a reason Massachusetts invented America. There is a reason we won the Revolutionary War. Because we don't let ourselves get pushed around the ring. Not by Britain, not by terrorists and certainly not by Roger Goodell."

At least, Shong was spared having to read the reports that Patriots coach Bill Belichick doesn't even believe that Brady is innocent.

Larry Brown Sports reported that Shong's family isn't the first to make references to the deceased's favorite teams. A woman said that defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers contributed to her death.

Another deceased man's family blamed the Seattle Seahawks' play call from the New England 1 in the final minute of their Super Bowl XLIX loss to the Patriots.
