Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings are still not seeing eye to eye, and the running back could be preparing to hold out in a last-ditch effort to have the team grant his wish to be traded. It looks like the team is determined to hold on their superstar at any cost, however.
Adrian Peterson To Forfeit Salary Over Trade Demand?
But is that what is actually best for the franchise? Obviously Peterson is a generational talent and one of the best running backs ever, but if he does not want to be on the team, how can they be assured that he will work to dominate opponents as he has in the past? According to TMZ, some fans are wondering the same kinds of things, and they are saying that it may be time to just move on from AP.
Actor and Comedian Nick Swardson is one of the more well-known Vikings fans (you may remember the video clips of him losing it at a bar when the team passed on Johnny Manziel last year), and he says that, regardless of all of the trade demands, he just does not want to have to root for a child abuser.

When asked what he wanted the team to do about Peterson, Swardson had a very blunt reply:
"Get rid of him."
He goes on to say that no matter how well AP plays, he will forever think of him beating his son, adding, "I'm a diehard Vikings fan but I'm also a fan of children."
