Indiana Pacers Rumors: Roy Hibbert Focus More On Hollywood Than Basketball?[VIDEO]

The Indiana Pacers made spirited late-season push for the playoffs, but they ultimately fell just short of making the postseason. The team is surely wondering whether or not things would have been different if superstar forward Paul George had been healthy all year, but they still have a promising seasons to look forward to in the future.

Kevin Love To Stay In Cleveland Following Injury?

One of the reasons the Pacers loom as a threat going forward is because they have Roy Hibbert, the NBA's master of verticality, to anchor them on the defensive end. Over the past few years, Hibbert has become a nightmarish rim protector, and he drastically affects opponents' game plans. But will he be able to maintain his focus in the coming seasons and remain a defensive stalwart?

According to TMZ, Hibbert may have eyes for Hollywood. He recently admitted that he would love to have a career as an actor once his playing days are done, and he added that he would really enjoy a chance to make an appearance on Tosh.0, which he said would be a dream opportunity.

Coach Spo On The Hot Seat?

Hibbert does have some experience in acting, as he made a few guest appearances on the popular show Parks & Rec in recent years.

Hibbert is already planning to move to Los Angeles for the summer, and he wants to use the offseason to take some acting classes to help him prepare for a post-basketball career.

You have to admire the fact that Hibbert is already planning for his future, which is something that a lot of pro athletes fail to do. However, the Pacers may have concerns that one of their franchise cornerstones might be focusing a little too much on what he wants to do down the line instead of honing his craft in the gym.

If Hibbert's on-court performance suffers next season, will Indiana blame his offseason focus (or lack thereof)?
