Chris Jericho hyped a special announcement for his Talk is Jericho podcast this week and on the Wednesday edition of the show he revealed that he is set to return to the WWE.

Jericho said on Podcastone.com that his deal is similar to what he worked in January and February as he will only work live non-televised events rather than appear on RAW, SmackDown and pay-per-view/WWE Network specials.

"Y2J" revealed that he will work 19 live dates over the summer for Vince McMahon's promotion during the months of June, July and August.

While he noted that he won't be working television events during this stint with the company, he hinted that he could return to the small screen soon.

Jericho noted that he's only doing live events again this time around because he still has some commitments to his band Fozzy and he has an upcoming family vacation in the summer.

Those outside endeavors will keep him from being able to engage in a long-term feud, which is why he is only doing live events.

The four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion said he is excited to work with some of the WWE's younger talents and while he knows who he will be performing with, he said he will reveal it at a later date.

Jericho, who interviewed John Cena and Stephanie McMahon on a live edition of his podcast on the WWE Network recently, also said he won't be able to have a WWE Network special again for a while due to how busy he is.

Jericho hasn't appeared on WWE television since he returned from a hiatus last summer and feuded with Bray Wyatt and then Randy Orton before leaving again in September.

He then signed on to become the "anti-Brock Lesnar" by performing only at non-televised events in January and February.

While he won't return to television, Jericho will be back with the WWE this summer.
