Brandon McCarthy Tweets: Dodgers Pitcher Pokes Fun At His Tommy John Surgery On Twitter

Hey, they say laughter is sometimes the best medicine.

Who "they" actually are is largely uncertain, but Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy seems to be taking their advice. So much for that $48 million dollar the investment the Dodgers made in him.

Regardless, McCarthy adopted a jovial tone of voice when it came to his post-surgery outlook.

McCarthy tweeted about his Tommy John surgery earlier in the week as well:

McCarthy is 55-65 with a 4.13 ERA in his nine-years in the majors. One of the league's most recognizable journeymen, he's taken the mound for the Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland A's, New York Yankees, and now the Dodgers.
