Dolphins Football Rumors: Todd Gurley a Lock For Miami at No. 14 After Greg Jennings Signs 2-Year Deal? [VIDEO]

According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, Greg Jennings will sign a two-year, $8 million deal with the Miami Dolphins. The former Green Bay Packer and Minnesota Viking reportedly had interest from the New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers.

Miami Must Extend Ryan Tannehill's Contract

Jennings will join a crop of receivers devoid of experience, Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline, but boasting Jarvis Landry (22), Rishard Matthews (25) and Kenny Stills (23).

The question is: How does Jennings' arrival impact Miami's decision with the No. 14 pick in the NFL Draft?

In his latest mock draft, ESPN analyst Todd McShay has the Dolphins selecting UCF receiver Breshad Perriman.

"The Dolphins have needs at linebacker and guard, but can address both of those on Day 2 and Day 3," McShay wrote (via The Phinsider). "They also need a big-play outside receiver to pair with Kenny Stills and Jarvis Landry, and Perriman fits the bill."

But is adding a now fifth receiver in Miami's best interest on Day 1?

One of the sexier and more perplexing options for the Dolphins is Georgia running back Todd Gurley. Despite recovering from a devastating knee injury, the 20-year-old has garnished serious interest from Miami's front office. Unfortunately, McShay projects Gurley to be well off the board before No. 14, even as high as No. 6 to the New York Jets.

"Now that Gurley is cleared from a medical standpoint, I think he's going to go high," McShay wrote. "Maybe not this high, but I do think this pick would make sense."

Whether it's Perriman or Gurley, the emphasis on finding a playmaker continues to be the narrative for the Dolphins this offseason.

Some of Gurley's NCAA highlights can be watched below.
