PGA Tour Leaderboard: The Masters Preview, Favorites and Predictions

The PGA Tour continues on Thursday with 2015 Masters. The event is the first of four major championships to be held this season.

Tiger Woods Thinks Rory McIlroy Will Win The Masters

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and a slew of other participants have descended onto Augusta National in hopes of claiming the elusive green jacket.

The Favorites

Jason Day: He didn't have a proper showing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, finishing tied for 17th, but Day has been agonizingly close to winning the Masters before. The 27-year-old has two top five finishes and this weekend is fitting enough to see him win the first major tournament of his career.

Jordan Spieth: He won the Valspar Championship, finished second at the Texas Open and tied for second at the Houston Open. No other golfer is riding better form than Jordan Spieth at the moment. Couple that with his tied-for-second-place finish at Augusta National in 2014, and all the makings are there for the 21-year-old to become golf's newest star.

Rory McIlroy: This hasn't been the best start to a calendar year, but when you're the world's No. 1 golfer, you're always a favorite. The pressure will mount with every hole as McIlroy chases the career grand slam, but he's already proven he has the stroke to overcome it.

Prediction

Confidence and form is all there for Spieth, making him the odds-on favorite to win the Masters.

"I feel as prepared as I think I could be," he said Sunday (via Dallas News). "I feel more and more comfortable with more and more pressure, and that gives me a lot of confidence going into Augusta, where you probably have the most pressure anywhere."
