Rory McIlroy is on the cusp of an iconic achievement, completing a career grand slam. The 25-year-old, however, needs a victory at Augusta National on Sunday in order to do so. Add Tiger Woods to the list of people that believe he will.

The former world No. 1 was asked about McIlroy's opportunity to complete the career grand slam and said (via CBS Sports), "You couldn't ask for a better place to do it, which is here at Augusta. It doesn't get much better than that, so he has that opportunity and he's going to have that opportunity for decades to come."

"I'm sure he'll have many green jackets in his closet before it's all said and done."

Despite having the weight of the world on his shoulders, McIlroy is relishing the opportunity to be participating in the Masters.

"Obviously, it's great to be back," he said. "Every time you get to participate in the Masters it's a huge thrill. Doesn't seem like seven years ago I was making my first visit here, but it's great to back. it's a golf course that's very special, not just me or the players playing this week, but our game, the Masters tournament."

"Augusta National is a very special place," McIlroy added. "Just glad to be back. Having a good time. Feel like I've done a lot of good work over the last few days to prepare. I came up a couple of times previous to this week, so I'm looking forward to it."

The Masters will begin on Thursday. McIlroy has a tee time of 10:41 a.m. ET, roughly three hours before Woods who is scheduled to begin at 1:48 p.m. ET.
