Philadelphia Eagles Rumors: LeSean McCoy Didn't Feel Respected By Chip Kelly? [VIDEO]

The Philadelphia Eagles made headlines with a lot of their moves this offseason, but the two biggest transactions both involved running backs. First, the team shipped LeSean McCoy to Buffalo in a trade, and then they signed DeMarco Murray from the division rival Dallas Cowboys.

The McCoy move was unexpected, but it made plenty of sense. The team was shedding salary that they could use to upgrade other areas of the roster instead of overpaying a running back (even though nobody questions Shady's talent). But then they raised eyebrows by signing an almost-equally expensive back in Murray. The jury is out on the wisdom of the moves, but McCoy is not afraid to say what he thinks about the decisions and about coach Chip Kelly, according to Philly.com.

Kelly has apparently called McCoy twice since the trade, but the star running back has ignored the calls and has not returned them. He is still bitter about the trade, and he thinks that the reasons that the Eagles gave the media for the deal are bunk.

"I don't think he likes or respects the stars. I'm being honest," McCoy said on Monday. "I think he likes the fact that it's 'Chip Kelly and the Eagles.'"

He went on to say that he thinks that Kelly's attitude has influenced other moves by the Eagles also, including getting rid of star receiver DeSean Jackson last year.

"It was 'DeSean Jackson - a high-flying, take-off-the-top-of-the-defense receiver.' Or 'the quick, elusive LeSean McCoy,'" McCoy said. "I don't think [Kelly] likes that."
