ANGELS vs MARINERS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: OPENING DAY Live Coverage Los Angeles at Seattle

Today at 4:10 p.m. ET two American League West clubs with postseason hopes, the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners, will square off on Opening Day at Safeco Field. Live stream the game online by clicking this link. Mariners fans can find the radio broadcast on 710 ESPN, while Angels fans may do the same on 830 KLAA. The Mariners will send out Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez to the mound to duel with Jered Weaver.

Hernandez's Mariners are no longer long shots to reach October, and he expressed excitement about  the 2015 season starting in his own stadium for the first time in 2007.

"I think it's going to be different than 2007. First of all, we've got a better offense, we've got a better team," Hernandez said. "So it's going to be fun. It's going to be awesome."

Robinson Cano is still at second base after a year of acclimating himself to a new team and a new, spacious ballpark. This season he'll have the 2014 home run leader Nelson Cruz providing backup in the lineup, so he can expect more pitches to hit this year.

The Angels are coming into this season with hopes of winning the division again after outfielder Mike Trout's first MVP award, and advancing deeper into the postseason. They were shockingly eliminated in the ALDS last fall by the Royals, who eventually reached the World Series.

"I think the guys probably still think about it. It was a time where for some guys, it was their first playoff experience and a time we thought we had a shot to do some more special things, but we kind of ran into a Mack truck in the Royals," Angels third baseman David Freese said.

"But I think you turn the page quick. Everybody understood that it was a successful season and we brought the division title back here."
