Aaron Hernandez Had Cops Called To California Home Several Times After Arguments With Fiancee

Police were called to the home of former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez as far back as a year ago to investigate claims of domestic abuse involving him and his fiancée.

According to TMZ, Hernandez was renting a beachfront home in Hermosa Beach, Ca. in June 2012 when neighbors overheard what they later described as “fighting” and called police.

When police arrived, they found fiancée Shayanna Jenkins inside the home, but she claimed to be unhurt and declined to press charges. Police left without making an arrest.

TMZ also reported cops were called to the home on several other occasions, each time responding to noise complaints made by neighbors. The website added one source claims each time police responded Hernandez "acted like an a--hole."

Hernandez, 23, remains jailed without bond and confined to solitary confinement on first-degree murder charges in the execution-style slaying of 27-year-old one-time associate and semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.

Lloyd’s bullet-riddled body was found less than a mile from Hernandez’s North Attleborough mansion late last month. Within days, Massachusetts state police formally lodged charges against Hernandez, prompting the Patriots to cut ties with him.

According to TMZ, Hernandez still has the Hermosa Beach rental home, but cops have yet to search it in connection with the Lloyd killing or any other crimes.
