Kevin Nash WWE Hall of Fame 2015: Top 5 Moments In 'Big Sexy's' Career [VIDEOS]

The WWE confirmed on Monday Night RAW that Kevin Nash is the latest former Superstar to be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For Final Show Before WrestleMania 31

Nash had a legendary career in WWE under the Diesel moniker and revolutionized professional wresting in WCW as part of the nWo.

Nash joins "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Rikishi, The Bushwhackers, Alundra Blayze, Larry Zbyszko, Tatsumi Fujinami and Arnold Schwarzenegger as part of the Hall of Fame Class that will get inducted on the eve of WrestleMania 31 this Saturday at the SAP Center in Los Angeles.

Countdown to WrestleMania 31: 3 Best Moments From WrestleMania XXV (25)

The five-time WCW and one-time WWE Heavyweight Champion took to Twitter to comment on the honor of being enshrined in wrestling lore:

Here are the five best moments of Kevin Nash's Hall of Fame career:

5) 'Big Daddy Cool' Returns: Nash portrayed the Diesel character in the WWE from 1993-96, but he dusted off the gimmick one more time on Jan. 30, 2011 as he made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble in Boston. Though he didn't eliminate anyone, Nash's nostalgic appearance popped the crowd and was a shocking moment. Nash came in as Diesel at No. 32 in the first and only 40-man Rumble Match and lasted nearly three minutes before being tossed by Wade Barrett.

4) Diesel vs. The Deadman: The final WrestleMania match Nash ever took part in was a great one as he battled legendary WWE Superstar The Undertaker at WrestleMania XII on March 31, 1996 in Anaheim. Nash and The Undertaker had a great back-and-forth encounter that is regarded as one of the best "big man" bouts in WrestleMania history. In the end, The Undertaker defeated "Big Daddy Cool" with a Tombstone to conclude the contest, which spanned over 16 minutes. It was Diesel's last match at the WWE's marquee show as he left for WCW shortly after, but he went out with a bang.

3) Ending The Streak: Just like Brock Lesnar will go down in history as the man to end The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania, Nash is also in the record books for doing the same to Goldberg. Bill Goldberg burst on the scene in WCW and rattled off 173 straight victories, but it was all about to end at Starrcade 1998. Nash defeated Goldberg in a No DQ match to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship after Scott Hall shocked Goldberg with a stun gun and Nash hit a Jackknife Powerbomb to win the gold and bring Goldberg to 173-1.

2) Beating Backlund: "Diesel Power" officially rose the top in the WWE in 1994 when Nash captured his first and only WWE Heavyweight Championship. Bob Backlund had shocked the world three days earlier at the Survivor Series by defeating Bret "Hitman" Hart for the gold on Thanksgiving Eve, but his reign was short-lived. Nash squashed Backlund in eight seconds at the Mecca of Madison Square Garden to win the title and kick off a reign that lasted almost a year at 358 days. During his reign at the top, Diesel would go on to have amazing matches with Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart.

1) New World Order: Nash and Scott Hall emerged on the scene in WCW in early 1996 portrayed as "The Outsiders" with the company acting as though the two were invading from the WWE. The storyline was compelling from the start, but it would take on a whole new level at Bash at the Beach 1996. The Outsiders teased they had a mystery partner for their match with Sting, Lex Luger and "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the main event of the pay-per-view. With the babyfaces in trouble, Hulk Hogan came out as though he was about to save the day, but he shocked the wrestling world by turning heel and aligning with Hall and Nash to form the original nWo. It was a stunning storyline swerve and one that revitalized wrestling and put WCW on the map, eventually giving it an advantage over the WWE in the Monday Night Wars. Nash did a lot in the WWE, but his time with the nWo -- especially the origins of it -- is truly his lasting legacy in wrestling.

Nash will take his place among wrestling's all-time greats Saturday when he's inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2015.
