Arnold Palmer Invitational 2015: Golden Bear Says Tiger Woods Needs To Practice To Get Back In Peak Form [VIDEO]

Golf's living legend Arnold Palmer spoke to reporters before the tournament invitational that bears his name, and he had some choice advice for Tiger Woods.

Rory McIlroy Needs Tiger Woods?

Woods as you might know is struggling with poor play and poorer health. He dropped out of the Arnold Palmer Invitational -- a tourney he's won a record eight times -- and his appearance at The Masters next month is also in jeopardy.

Palmer told the media that Woods called him personally to apologize for not being able to play in the event.

“I’ve known him since he was three-feet high," Palmer said, referring to Woods. "He’s a great player. He was a very talented young kid with his father instructing him, and for me to tell you or tell Tiger what he could do… there’s only one thing I can say and that’s practice, and confidence.

"To regain the confidence that he had when he was starting out, that was what made him what he is, that’s the way he’ll get it back. Just regain the confidence and the ability to hit the golf ball. I think one thing Tiger did — this is an opinion that I haven’t even given to anybody — and that is he should do what he thinks he should do with his game. He should find a coach that he has confidence in and go work on his game, and that’s my best advice.”
