Tonight at 6:50 p.m. ET, No. 16 Lafayette (20-12, 9-9 Patriot) and No. 1 Villanova (32-2, 16-2 Big East) play in NCAA March Madness Round 2 action live from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh as part of the East region bracket.
Villanova has a lot of confidence after winning the Big East regular season and tournament titles for the first time in program history and rides a 15-game winning streak into the contest.
"I just think we're the kind of team that we really, honestly, we can beat anybody," head coach Jay Wright said, according to ESPN. "We really could."

Lafayette has had a solid season and comes into play under the tutelage of head coach Fran O'Hanlon, who was once one of Villanova's biggest stars.
"Me being a Philly guy and a Villanova guy and not being so far from Philadelphia as a team, I think there's been a lot of positives out of this," O'Hanlon said per ESPN. "Probably the only negative is that we're going to have to play them tomorrow."
Dan Trist has guided the Leopards by notching a team-best 17.3 points and per game while Daniel Ochefu (8.4) leads the team in rebounds per game and Ryan Arcidiacono (3.5) paves the way in assists per game.
Darrun Hillard II has paced the Wildcats this season with 14 points per game and has added 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
