Before Ronda Rousey was dominating the women’s UFC circuit, the MMA bantamweight was competing in the Olympics as a Judo fighter.
Iron Mike Tyson Says He’s A “Huge Fan” of Rowdy Ronda
Rousey won a bronze at the 2008 Games in Beijing, and she believes that she could take the gold should she ever have another crack at it. However, she also stated that she doesn’t plan on re-entering that sport anytime soon.
“I still believe I would be able to win the Olympics,” Rousey said, per NBC Sports. “That takes 100 percent of your energy. It has to be the No. 1 priority in your life.”

For what it’s worth, Rousey’s obsession with the Olympics is literally skin-deep: she has a tattoo of the Olympic rings on her pelvis, and the Games’ motto, “citius altius fortius,” inked above her ankle.
However, Rousey is simply too popular for something like an Olympics bid to be a number one priority in her life. In addition to winning every UFC fight put in front of her, Rousey has expanded her star power out of the Octagon as well. She's posed for the 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazine, and she's starring in upcoming films like Fast & Furious 7, Entourage, and Mile 22.
