PGA Tour Rumors: Other Golfers Not Missing Tiger Woods? [VIDEO]

Tiger Woods is currently taking a bit of a hiatus from professional golf because of his recent struggles on the course. Woods has played terribly so far this season, and he wants to try and get his game right before the majors start rolling around.

Woods is clearly not his old self, leading many to openly question whether he can still play. Jack Nicklaus, the man whom Woods is chasing for the record for major wins, thinks Tiger's problem is mental. Regardless of the issue, other golfers do not seem to think Tiger's absence will affect the sport, according to CBS Sports.

"I think at the end of the day, the game is bigger than any of us," said Sergio Garcia. "And at some point, there will be no Tiger. There will be no Mickelson. There will be no Sergio García. There will be no Rory McIlroy, but more people will come out. At the end of the day, the game will still be there."

Of course, many would beg to differ with Sergio's opinion, as many casual golfers and avid fans alike express less interest in tournaments when Woods is out. "If Tiger's not in the tournament, I don't watch it," said one fan. "It's not that I dislike any of the other players. I'm just indifferent to them."

Still, Tiger has to sort his game out before he can return to playing at a high level. Although his agent, Mark Steinberg, recently insisted that Woods is hard at work to correct his issues, one longtime PGA Tour member thought that he was just saying what everyone wants to hear, adding, "Did (Steinberg) say that? He's covering for him."

Some have suggested that Tiger return to working with former swing coach Butch Harmon. See the video below for more.
