Peyton Manning Denver Broncos Rumors: Some Calling For The Sheriff To Take A Pay Cut [VIDEO]

It is looking increasingly like Peyton Manning will be returning for another season in 2015, and it even appears that it he will be spending that season in Denver, as the two sounds are increasingly sounding like they want to partner together for another run at a Super Bowl.

But according to Pro Football Talk, the increased talk from the outside is more and more about the salary that Peyton Manning is currently owed and whether the quarterback should or will take a pay cut.

Manning is currently scheduled to make $19 million dollars in 2015, and that number becomes fully guaranteed on March ninth if Manning is still on the roster on that day. While Denver has not officially asked or demanded that Manning take a pay cut, it seems likely that they will because that will benefit both sides.

The Denver Post also agrees about Manning's salary, even running a column recently called "Peyton Manning Should Take a Pay Cut."

However, Manning has already made nearly a quarter-billion dollars from salary alone, and cutting several million off of his 2015 number would probably go a long way for a Denver team that also surely wants to re-sign Julius and Demaryious Thomas.

Manning has expressed a desire to return, and he is already starting to work out to ensure that next season goes better than 2014 (although he still had a stellar season). It would now seem that the onus is on John Elway and the Broncos.

And of course, the biggest question of all is if Denver does ask Manning to take a pay cut, will he agree to it?
