WTMJ in Milwaukee is set to air an interview with the "Best in the World" in which he talks about training with Milwaukee-based Roufusport and making the jump from the WWE to UFC.
The affiliate posted a teaser of the interview, which is set to air Friday night at 10:15 p.m. ET on the station, where Punk describes how he's always wanted to do UFC.

"I don't think I've ever told anybody this. If you watch NASCAR and you want to race in NASCAR, but you give yourself every excuse why in the world not to do it," Punk told the affiliate. I have a 9 to 5 job, a wife, kids, I can't afford it. Too expensive. And then you eliminate all that and just go after what you want to go after. That's just something I've wanted to do for a long time."
Punk walked out on the WWE last year and later sighted on his friend Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast that he was fed up with the company after months of silence about it.
Punk was frustrated with the WWE due to the way he was being used over the last couple of years and the company asking him to work hurt several times, including after the Royal Rumble -- which was his last night in the company -- when he said he had a concussion.
"The Best in the World," who is married to WWE Diva AJ Lee in real life and received his termination papers from the WWE on the day of their nuptials, signed with UFC in December.
Punk has been training hard and is set to make his UFC debut late this year, likely in six months or so.
Punk had a memorable run in the WWE, but he is getting set for his new career in UFC.
