After winning the Super Bowl, Julian Edelman has had a great time making public appearances, celebrating, and generally doing everything else that a person would want to do after reaching the pinnacle of their profession.

Edelman's latest stop on the publicity tour was an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and the two touched on several topics of discussion. Before Meyers could even ask a question, Edelman threw out a few of his own, ribbing Meyers - a New Hampshire native and huge Celtics and Red Sox fan - for rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Edelman even gave Meyers a Patriots shirt in an effort to sway the host, but Meyers quickly shut that talk down with a well-placed quip about championships.

Edelman admitted that he was still on a bit of a high from winning the big game, which comes as no shock to anyone that has paid attention to the news for the past two weeks. He also gave some insight into what was going through is mind at the end of the Super Bowl after he caught New England's go-ahead touchdown pass.
"First off," said Edelman, "you're thinking, 'Alright we just scored, we're in a good situation, and now our defense goes out.' And then they make a miraculous catch. Now you're starting to think, 'I have to get my situations right.' But then you're praying like, 'Defense, let's make a play.'"
Meyers also took a subtle jab at the NFL's quarterback bias when he commented on what a great game Edelman had for the Patriots and insinuated that the receiver may have won the award were it not for the quarterback bias. "You had such a great game," said Meyers. "Let's just say, you know, again, they only give MVP awards to the quarterbacks. It just happens. If they didn't give it to a quarterback, you had nine catches, over 100 yards, a touchdown, you had a great game."
