Seattle Seahwks Rumors: DePaul Student Uses Marshawn Lynch Quotes To Pick Up Girls [VIDEO]

Marshawn Lynch has dominated the headlines lately, mainly because Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll elected not to hand Lynch the ball in the final minute of the Super Bowl when they had the ball at the New England one-yard line. However, Lynch also made headlines all season long for his media appearances.

Julian Edelman A Bigger Partyer Than Gronk?

At first, Lynch tried to avoid the media whenever possible, but he eventually gave that strategy up after the NFL started to repeatedly fine him heavily for skipping media appearances. They also reportedly threatened to fine Lynch half a million dollars if he failed to meet his media obligations prior to the Super Bowl.

Of course, Lynch started meeting his media obligations in order to avoid getting fined, and he had no problem making every appearance into a farce. He would frequently answer questions with irrelevant answers, and he spent more than one session by answering every question with the same answer.

According to Yahoo! Sports, one college student has decided to take what he learned by watching Marshawn Lynch and apply those lessons in his own social life. The guy goes to DePaul University, and he has taken to using lines from Lynch's press conferences in order to hit on girls.

He has even taken videos of his efforts to document the whole thing for posterity. His success levels vary, but he is certainly adopting a creative approach to getting girls' phone numbers. And you have love how he pulled out Lynch's infamous "just here so I won't get fined" line while talking to a girl in the library. Well played, guy.
