Daniel Bryan Return to WWE: Brie Bella Reacts To 'Emotional Roller Coaster' And Her Husband's Comeback [VIDEO]

After spending the majority of 2014 on the sidelines, WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan announced that he will be returning to the company at the Royal Rumble and his wife and WWE Diva Brie Bella reacted to his big announcement.

Bella spoke to Renee Young on WWE Fallout about Bryan coming out on Monday Night RAW and announcing that he will return at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

"You know I have to say, it has been the biggest emotional roller coaster for both Daniel and myself and when you're the wife and you're standing behind your husband and you see him go through these downfalls, but to see his strength and to see him pull himself out of this, I just have the goosebumps thinking about it," Bella said. "I can't be more proud of him and you know I have to say not only was the past year our happiest year, but at the same time it was the hardest year. And look it, my husband will be back for [the] Royal Rumble and he didn't need another surgery. And what can I say? I have not only the strongest man on the planet, but the greatest man. And I'm so excited the WWE Universe finally gets who they wanted back...Daniel Bryan."

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For First Episode of 2015

Bryan has been sidelined since mid-May after undergoing neck surgery and losing feeling in his right arm following the procedure. He will return to action for the first time since the operation as an entrant in the 2015 over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble Match at the event with a title shot at WrestleMania 31 on the line.

Bella said it was a tough decision for both of them to make, but she trusts her husband is healthy enough to compete.

"You know, I look at it like our next 20 years," Bella said. "I think about, 'okay this is gonna be the father of my children, like I want you to be able to play catch with them and do things.' So when you're talking about someone's health and their neck it's a big concern. But, I know my husband better than anyone and the one thing I know is he knows his body and if he knows he's ready to be in the ring then he's ready."

Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX and married Bella shortly thereafter, but it was an up-and-down year in 2014 for Bryan as those highs came along with the lows of a debilitating injury and the loss of his father.

Bryan's 2015 seems like it will get off to a good start after his promo on RAW.

"Is my career over?" Bryan asked the audience on RAW. "No. That is not the announcement that I came here to make. I am ready to fight. I am ready to compete. And will I be in the 2015 Royal Rumble [Match]? Yes! Yes!"

After an up-and-down 2014, Bryan and Bella are hopeful for a strong New Year as "The Beard" makes its return.
