The WWE has sent out a directive for Steve "Sting" Borden to be referred to as "The Vigilante Sting" when he is talked about on WWE television and when he makes his next appearance.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, a directive was issued in the WWE to refer to Sting as The Vigilante Sting and there are no exceptions as everyone needs to call him that going forward. Sting signed a part-time deal for the WWE which reportedly has six appearances on it.

Sting used his first appearance at the Survivor Series last month when he got into a physical altercation with Triple H and helped Dolph Ziggler pin Seth Rollins to win the elimination match for Team Cena, which caused Team Authority to lose their power.

The appearance has led to speculation that the former WCW and TNA icon will face "The Game" at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California. It has been rumored that the WWE has a Triple H vs. Sting match penciled in for the "Show of Shows."

It was always expected that Sting would face The Undertaker, but after 'Taker lost The Streak and was injured last April at WrestleMania XXX, the WWE opted to switch up its plans.

Sting was rumored to face The Undertaker last year, but the WWE couldn't get a contract done and ended up putting current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar against 'Taker while booking him to end The Streak.

The Undertaker's status for WrestleMania 31 remains up in the air due to his age and injury last year.

Sting has said that he would like to face The Undertaker even without The Streak on the line, but he also listed Triple H as a potential opponent as well.

It has been rumored that if The Undertaker does in fact compete at WrestleMania 31, his opponent with be the "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt.

"The Vigilante" Sting will likely wrestle his first match in the WWE -- and quite possibly the last of his career -- at WrestleMania 31 in March.
