With all due respect to the Oakland Raiders, the Washington Redskins have to be the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL right now. The team is playing poorly, and the head coach has once again aired his criticisms of quarterback Robert Griffin III to the entire planet.

This time, Gruden came out and talked about how important it is for Washington to get a lead because it is not in the team's best interest for Griffin to have to drop back and read defenses.
Yet, it seems like Gruden does understand that Griffin is still a young player, so it does not make that much sense that he would keep blasting him in the media.
These comments come just a week after Gruden stated that he does not believe that Griffin can succeed in any NFL offense because they all use similar dropback passing concepts.
Gruden Thinks RG3 Won't Succeed Anywhere
Not content just to criticize his quarterback's play, Gruden also made sure to mention how Griffin hampers Washington's ability to manage the clock.
At this point, nobody has any real idea what the future holds for Washington, but it is virtually certain that Jay Gruden has bashed RG3 to the point that the team will move on from one of them this offseason.
Griffin's stock is at an all-time low, and he may not fetch very much back in a trade, which may be the straw that breaks Jay Gruden's back. It also would not be the first time that Daniel Snyder fired a coach after just one season. He did the same to coaching legend Marty Schottenheimer shortly after assuming ownership of the franchise.
