Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey (via the Telegraph): "He [Arsene Wenger] has been under some unfair criticism, but we are in it together. We wanted to get the result [against Galatasaray] for us and for him. Every player here wants to work hard for him. We have proven that again."
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew (via Chronicle Live): "It is a situation with his [Papiss Cisse] knee, which means we have to protect him. Could he have done that [score] in the last 35 minutes if he had played the whole game? Probably not. He was fresh. There is one thing you do know: He will score."
